Common questions
Everything you need to know before you order.
Why not just print my own QR code on a piece of paper?+
You absolutely can — and for zero dollars. But paper fades, rips, and looks like an afterthought. A printed QR code can't be tapped (no NFC), can't be re-programmed if you change locations or review platforms, and doesn't come with the AI-powered review dashboard that ReviewHive includes free for 14 days. For $9.99 you get a premium acrylic plate with a weighted base, waterproof finish, NFC + QR built in, a re-programmable URL, and a full reputation management platform. That's less than a roll of receipt paper.
When will my plate ship?+
First production batch ships starting June 27, 2026. Orders are queued in the order received — the earlier you buy, the sooner you ship. We'll email you a tracking number the day your order leaves our facility.
Do I need a Google Business Profile?+
Yes — the plate sends customers to your Google review form, which only works if your business has a verified Google Business Profile. If you don't have one yet, it's free to create at google.com/business and takes about 10 minutes.
What's the difference between NFC and QR?+
Each plate has both. NFC lets customers tap their phone to the plate (no app, no scanning — just tap and your phone opens the review page). QR is the visible square code customers can scan with their camera app. Both go to the same review link — customers use whichever they're comfortable with.
How does the free trial of ReviewHive work?+
Every plate order auto-creates a ReviewHive Starter account for the email you provide at checkout. Trial starts the day your plate ships. Runs 14 days. No charge after — we'll email a reminder 3 days before the trial ends if you want to keep ReviewHive.
Can I change the URL my plate points to?+
Yes. Each plate's destination is managed through your ReviewHive account, so if you move locations, rebrand, or want to redirect to a different review platform later, you can update the link without buying new plates.
Do I have to use ReviewHive?+
No — the plates work standalone. They route customers directly to your Google review form whether you use ReviewHive or not. The 14-day free trial is a bonus — if you don't want it, just don't activate the magic link in your confirmation email and the plates still work forever.
What's the refund policy?+
30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. If the plates don't work as expected or you're not happy for any reason, email us within 30 days of delivery and we'll issue a full refund. Your ReviewHive trial can be cancelled separately at any point during the 14-day window with no charge.
